The main concept of the Leuven.Inc Foundation Award is to select and encourage projects that contribute in a very specific and sustainable way to the promotion, stimulation and execution of competitive and/or social entrepreneurship.

 

The calls organised in 2012 and 2014, were open to projects submitted by companies and organisations located in Flanders that contribute in a very specific and sustainable way to the promotion, stimulation and execution of

​

• Competitive entrepreneurship: projects that focus on the stimulation of entrepreneurship in a competitive market environment

• Social entrepreneurship: projects that focus on the stimulation of entrepreneurship in a socioeconomic environment

 

The Leuven.Inc Foundation honoured projects in each of these 2 categories. The winning projects, selected by a jury, received the acknowledgement "Laureate of the Leuven.Inc Foundation".

 

The presentation of the Leuven.Inc Foundation Award took place under the auspices of the Board of Directors of the Foundation. The jury consisted of members of the Board of Directors of Leuven.Inc Foundation and external experts.

The aim is to open a new call for the Foundation in 2020.
