You will work in a small team on the core of our digital operating room NUCLeUS, 'the system back-end'. Your main responsibility is the translation of the requirements into an application architecture and maintainable and robust code.
Profile
- You hold a master’s degree in informatics or computer science or a related field or you have acquired the same insights by experience (ir., ing., lic., master in de ingenieurswetenschappen, master in de industriële wetenschappen)
- You have at least three years of relevant experience
- You have a in-depth knowledge of Linux
- You are an expert in C++ and Python
- You are familiar with distributed computing, preferably using CORBA
- You have a good understanding of TCP/IP networking
- You have a basic understanding of SQL databases and database administration
- You have experience in working in a light weight process implementing sound requirements management, design, (unit) testing, code review and version management
- An eagerness to broaden your scope to the development of web back-end and front-end is a strong bonus
