You will join our European sales team. You will be responsible for finding new OEM customers and applications in Europe and Asia as well as maintaining and expanding our partner/integrator/distributor network, and managing relationships with existing customers and prospects in these markets.
Task Description
- Generate and qualify sales leads in assigned territory and/or market segments
- Create and follow up bids and quotations, negotiate contracts, and convert leads to orders for assigned prospects
- Manage contracts and long-term supply agreements with key customers
- Manage and extend partner/integrator/distributor network in assigned territory
- Provide market feedback to assist in new product development, and feedback and market intelligence on competitive products
- Assist product management and marketing in refining and disseminating brand and product messages
- Actively promote Septentrio brand awareness
Profile
- Skills needed:
- Experience in B2B selling of electronics modules to industrial integrators
- RF/GPS technical knowledge and understanding of customer base.
- Experience in instrumentation in relevant markets (Survey/GIS/Geomatics, Marine Engineering, Oil&Gas, Agriculture, Machine control)
- Perfect command of English
- Creative thinker and problem solver, who can think with the customer to map Septentrio products and capabilities onto the customer’s application
- Good negotiator on technical and commercial level, and on different levels within the customer’s organization
- Self-starting and self-motivated individual with excellent time management skills
- Good communicator, organizer, motivator and team player
- Systematic/analytical skills
- Extra assets:
- Experience in high-precision GNSS technology (RTK, INS, ...)
- German and/or other languages
- Experience in hiring and managing a network of distributors or manufacturer representative firms
- Education:
- You hold a bachelors degree (masters degree a plus) in Engineering, Informatics, Electronics, or equivalent
